For those of you traveling to Nashville for the 2018 CMA Music Festival, you may want to leave early and take a detour thru Franklin, KY for the Love in Bloom Music Festival.
Love in Bloom Festival will be a two-day outdoor concert event in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Johnny and June Carter Cash, who married "in a fever" in Franklin, Kentucky on March 1, 1968. They were on the road to one of Country Music's most enduring marriages.
Johnny and June are no longer with us to celebrate their anniversary but the community of Franklin plans to celebrate one of the most famous marriages in country music history in our historic downtown. You can't get any more country than this venue - it's one block from the courthouse, one block from the railroad, right in front of the sheriff's office and the jail, and just two blocks from the church where Johnny and June married.
