From the organizers: "Hi friends,We don’t think it’ll come as a surprise to any of you that we will not be able to have DelFest in May. The good news is, we are going to have a DelFest in 2021...with new dates of September 23-26. As we’ve said many times, we won’t do anything that is unsafe, but as we get closer to September, we believe it’ll be very clear what modifications need to be made to keep all of you fine people safe, and we can have a DelFest that feels right. Mom and Dad have been fully vaccinated now, and we hope by September any of you that want it will have had the chance (and we want to encourage you to get a vaccine when it’s your time). For those of you that currently have tickets, they will be rolled over to the September dates -- or you can use them in 2022 (details on that as well as refund requests will be coming soon). Finally, we are excited about the lineup we will be bringing you. Most of the acts have been able to accommodate the new dates. We will be posting an updated lineup with ticket sale information in the near future." Summerfest in Milwaukee orginally scheduled for multiple weekends in June, has now been moved to September. They are working on scheduling entertainment for the new dates, but no details have been released.
From the organizers: "Save The Dates September 2 - 4, 9 - 11 and 16 - 18, 2021 Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance is moving from its original June 2021 dates to give health professionals more time to vaccinate the general public. We’re planning to bring the noise and double down on everything all of us have been missing for so long - beginning September 2nd. While the progress made through the vaccine rollout is encouraging, we believe it is in the public’s best interest to hold the festival in September to give government leaders and healthcare organizations enough time to distribute the vaccine. We will continue to work diligently with civic officials and healthcare professionals as we prepare to welcome artists, fans, employees, vendors and sponsorship partners this summer. Our team is excited to get back to what we do best, as soon as possible. We are also working to reschedule American Family Insurance Amphitheater concerts and will provide updated concert information within the coming weeks. " For the second year in a row, Home Town Rising has been cancelled due to concerns over COVID. This even generally takes place in September in Lousiville, Kentucky.

Usually held in March, the Event had been moved to May in hopes it could be held. From the organizers: "Today, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced the cancellation of the RODEOHOUSTON® competitions, concerts and entertainment, carnival, and other attractions and activities, which were recently rescheduled for May 4 – 23, 2021, due to the ongoing health situation. While we were optimistic that moving our Rodeo to May would provide a better opportunity to host our annual community event that Rodeo fans have come to love and expect, unfortunately, it has become evident that the current health situation has not improved to the degree necessary to host our event,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “While this is an extremely heartbreaking decision for our Rodeo volunteers and the larger Rodeo community, we believe this decision is in the best interest of the health and well-being of our community.” NOTE: The Junior Livestock and Horse Show competitions will still be held in March, as private events, upholding the Rodeo’s mission of promoting agriculture and supporting Texas youth. The Junior Market Auctions and Champion Wine Auction will also still be held in May, also as private events. These events will follow all state and local health and safety guidelines. According to an article in the Los Angles Times, the Stagecoach Festival scheduled for April 23-26 in Indio, California has been cancelled.
The organizers for the Stagecoach Festival and its sister even Coachela (which is also reporrtedly cancelled). The OFFICIAL WEB-Site for Stagecoach has not been updated. It goes on to say that the order came from Riverside County Public Health Officer: “This order is intended to reduce the likelihood of exposure to COVID-19, thereby slowing the spread of COVID-19 in communities worldwide,” wrote Dr. Cameron Kaiser in the order canceling the festivals. “If COVID-19 were detected at these festivals, the scope and number of attendees and the nature of the venue would make it infeasable, if not impossible, to track those who may be placed at risk.” We will post updates as they become available. 30A SONGWRITERS VIRTUAL FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND!
From the Festival "Tickets are on sale now for the 2021 Virtual 30A Songwriters Festival scheduled to debut Friday, January 29th at 6:00 p.m. EST, Saturday January 30th at 6:00 p.m. EST, and Sunday January 31st at 6:00 p.m. EST. The Virtual Festival is a three-part series with each episode running approximately one hour. The presentation is a documentary of the past decade of Festivals edited from film footage shot at Festivals together with recent recordings of many of your favorite artists performing songs for our online 2021 event. Many of the festival's performers contributed special content: Jason Isbell, performing with his band the 400 Unit, contributes a remote recording presented in multiple frames to highlight the band. Rosanne Cash and her husband John Leventhal contribute a personal greeting to the 30A crowd and perform a beautiful acoustic rendition of "Seven Year Ache," and rock legend Graham Nash contributes a version of "Just A Song Before I Go" on acoustic guitar filmed at his home. Brandi Carlile and the twins perform a live song from the Moore Theater in Seattle, and Kristian Bush and his band introduce a song from their very own studio. Indigo Girls perform acoustic from the Atlanta offices of Russell Carter Artist Management (Festival co-producer), where they have performed Facebook Live shows throughout 2020. David Ryan Harris performs a solo electric song and 30A mainstay Shawn Mullins is presented live from an Annual 30A Songwriters Festival preview party at the WaterColor Lake House for members/sponsors of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (co-producer and beneficiary of the Festival). The Jenny Brook Bluegrass Festival scheduled for June in Tunbridge, Vermont has been postponed until 2022. Stay tuned for possible mini-fest later in the year.
From the organizers: "Dear Jenny Brook Family,Many of you may have already received this notice in your email but we wanted to make sure to include it in our Jenny Brook Insider too. On our bulletin board, we still have the post-it note that says, “Stay Home Stay Safe Started 3/13/20.” At that time we really thought it would be for a few weeks, but never imagined it would turn into this ongoing pandemic. We miss all of you so much and it’s heartbreaking for us to have to share this news with you but at the same time we haven’t given up on seeing you in 2021. When we postponed and re-contracted bands to 2021 we really thought this could happen. We were actually hoping we’d get to see our Bluegrass Family at other events later in the summer of 2020 but as you already know, that didn’t happen either. Weeks ago when it was announced that the vaccines were becoming available and might be administered before summer we were even more hopeful but now the shifting timelines do not look great for the end of June. Our anniversary budget can only be held if we can be at full capacity and June 2021 will be too soon for this to happen. The 20th Year Jenny Brook Celebration - Take II will, unfortunately, be postponed again to June 22-26, 2022. Your prepaid 2021 passes will be honored in 2022. PLAN B In the meantime, we haven’t completely given up, we’re moving on to Plan B. We are working on a downsized Jenny Brook Mini-Fest so when things change and we can safely hold an event in 2021, we’ll be ready! Some of the bands are already working with us to help us put together an event to keep Jenny Brook going. It would feel like we are going back in time to the old Weston Days! We plan to be ready to make decisions quickly as regulations change. It will be much easier to do this with the Jenny Brook Mini-Fest being on a much smaller scale than with all the extra side stages etc. that we’ve all come accustomed to at Jenny Brook. New and updated information will appear on the website as it becomes available. We are asking you to hang in there with us while we put these plans in place and they evolve with the changing guidelines. Please know if it can safely happen, we plan to do everything we can so we can be together in 2021." The 30A Songwriter's Festival has announced they are going Virtual for 2021. More details will be coming soon. From their email correspondance.
We will post details as soon as we know them as well. "Greetings, We want to alert one and all that we are about to announce details for the 2021 Virtual 30A Songwriters Festival. It is going up for sale VERY SOON. (think Hooks, (on)Lines & Singers). Check your emails and Facebook to keep up to date on all the latest information on this event. We are down on 30A working on last minute filming and editing and it feels very uncrowded and a little bit lonely without our Festival people! But let's look on the bright side. You can watch from the warmth and comfort of your home, AND drinks and wine are free. We got organized in our spare time and created a beautiful coffee table photography book of gorgeous artist photos spanning the last decade of Festival appearances. We think everyone who has attended the festival will want to have this in their home or office. By popular demand we are re-issuing a t-shirt from each year of the Festival beginning with 2010 through 2020 and have created a commemorative 2021 Virtual Festival hat for this year. Virtual Festival tickets and merchandise will be available for pre-orders soon. Don't worry - we are not debuting the Virtual Concert this weekend - there is way too much football going on. But next weekend - make it all about 30A Songwriters Festival! In the meantime, post photos from past 30A Songwriters Festivals you attended with your memories and tag our Facebook and Instagram. See you online soon." ![]() Carolina Country Music Fest announced on April 1, that they are rescheduling their Festival until September. The new dates are September 17-20.
