Jimmie Allen recently partnered with singer-songwriter-producer Aaron Benward to launch the Nashville-based management and production company JAB Entertainment. The company’s first signing is country duo, Neon Union.

Neon Union includes Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps. Allen saw each perform as solo artists, and introduced them, suggesting that they work together. The duo’s first single, “Beer Up,” released Dec. 30 via a distribution deal with EMPIRE. They are also featured on the track “Livin’ Man,” from Allen’s Bettie James Gold Edition project.

Multiple Events planned at Country Music Hall of Fame During CMA Fest 2022.

​The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will offer a slate of special programs during CMA Fest 2022 this June, including a live performance with Jenee Fleenor on June 9, a concert and conversation with some of CMT’s Next Women of Country on June 10, a Songwriter Session with Caitlyn Smith on June 11, and a Musician Spotlight with John Osborne on June 12.

All programs are included with museum admission and free to museum members. Seating is limited, and a program ticket is required for admittance.

Musician's Corner returns to Centennial Park in Nashville this spring for Live music in the park.

There will be #free live music every Friday and Saturday in May and June. Plus, a three-day Memorial Day Weekend Celebration, and a special Thursday performance by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.

Since 2010, Musicians Corner has provided free public access to live music in the heart of Music City. Located in beautiful Centennial Park, the series generally takes place in May / June and September each year. 

Over 1,500 artists have been showcased on the Musicians Corner stage, including legendary artists Emmylou Harris, Chris Stapleton, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Vince Gill, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Musicians Corner is a program of Centennial Park Conservancy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to preserve, enhance, and share the Parthenon and Centennial Park.

Multi-Platinum superstar Darius Rucker will return to the historic Ryman Auditorium on Monday, June 6 for his 13th Annual Darius and Friends concert benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The event, which unofficially kicks off the week of CMA Fest in downtown Nashville and has raised more than $2.5 million to date, will feature an all-star roster of friends to be announced in the coming weeks.

I know many people look forward to arriving early every year for the CMA Music Festival in order to attend the awards, but that will not be happening in 2022.

"‘CMT Music Awards’ To Air April 3, 2022 on CBSViacomCBS recently announced that its signature country music tentpole would move to CBS from CMT. 

CBS announced today it will present its inaugural broadcast of the CMT MUSIC AWARDS live from Nashville on Sunday, April 3, 2022 (8:00-11:00 PM, LIVE ET/delayed PT). CMT will kick off the company’s first ever Country Music Week by hosting week-long special programming and events capped by exclusive director’s cut airings of the CMT MUSIC AWARDS later on CMT and various ViacomCBS platforms.

ViacomCBS recently announced that its signature country music tentpole would move to CBS from CMT on the heels of this year’s success.
