The inaugural Disco Party Benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association raised over $300,000 for Alzheimer’s research. The event was hosted by Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Blair Garner. Kimberly Williams-Paisley was one of the main forces behind the event. She had previously lost her mother from dementia. She talks about this in her book, Where the Light Gets In. This was such fun. Let's hope they do this again (maybe with a different decade featured).
An amazing house band "The Retrospecs" kept the cloud dancing between sets with songs like fan favorites "Y.M.C.A.
And, featured performances by some of Nashville’s top country artists. Many of the artists and audience members dressed in themed costumes for the occasion.

The show ended with a “Grand Finale” with all the stars joining the RetroSpecs onstage for “Love Train” by the O’Jays.
