Rick's Ranchwear opened for business on May, 20 1978 in Youngstown, Ohio. At only 23 years of age, Rick Blase, our owner and President, took a leap of faith and opened the store with only 72 pair of boots and 500 empty boxes so as to make it look like he had more inventory. As time went on he expanded his boot inventory.
