The Dixie National has been nominated Top 5 Indoor Rodeo of The Year four of the past five years. This award is voted on by the cowboys in the P.R.C.A. The rodeo is produced by Harper & Morgan Rodeo Company. You see some of the best cowboys in the world competing on the best livestock in the world.

Due to the Father of Country Music's influence on all genres of American music and the rich legacy he left behind, the Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival has a unique opportunity to draw a wide regional – and even international – audience.

Starting as a bluegrass festival in 1975 for locals of Monticello, Mississippi to enjoy, it slowly became a huge event that people from all around the state and surrounding states came to enjoy every Memorial Day Weekend.
