The Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival began in 1953 with the Jimmie Rodgers' Day, which attracted more than 50,000 attendees, and has provided live music entertainment by premier musicians throughout the years. Due to the Father of Country Music's influence on all genres of American music and the rich legacy he left behind, the Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival has a unique opportunity to draw a wide regional – and even international – audience.

The Atwood Music Festival has been a long-held tradition in Southwest Mississippi for music lovers of all kinds! Starting as a bluegrass festival in 1975 for locals of Monticello, Mississippi to enjoy, it slowly became a huge event that people from all around the state and surrounding states came to enjoy every Memorial Day Weekend.

The festival has now evolved to a country music festival that has booked bigtime names, such as, Trace Adkins, Jake Ownes, Chris Young, Craig Morgan, Chris Jansen, Oakridge Boys, Lainey Wilson, and so much more!
