The festival explores the breadth and legacy of Americana, taking in both traditional and contemporary takes on our country’s rich musical traditions, across two stages in naturally formed amphitheaters on the ranch. July 24 - July 26, 2025 (Cardwell, Montana near Three Forks) Headwaters Country Jam was created to bring live country music in a festival atmosphere to Montana and the northwest. The festival was conceived in late 2007, and the first Jam was held in June 2008. The festival is held at the venue known as The Bridge, near Three Forks. The Bridge is comprised of 159 acres and is the final resting ground for the historic Sappington Bridge that once spanned the Jefferson River. Sixty acres are used for the state-certified campground. Within the venue is a 12-acre arena where all the magic happens. Live music from national and local acts plays all day and into the night.
