Old Dominion - Hard Rock - Universal Orlando
April 8, 2017
Old Dominion brought their high-energy show to the Hard Rock Café located at Universal Orlando's City Walk on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Opening act Brandon Lay took the stage at 8 p.m. for his 45 minute set. He has been on the road with the boys of Old Dominion for several months.
Old Dominion took the stage at 9 p.m. for their 1 hour 30 minute set of 19 songs. From the moment they took the stage, they had the sold out show on their feet dancing and singing along. Even the folks high up in the Balcony were rocking out. How could you not?
The band played many old favorites off of their highly acclaimed debut CD as well as introducing the crowd to some new tunes off of their upcoming Sophomore album. From the sounds of it there will be no sophomore slump here.
Old Dominion consists of lead singer Matthew Ramsey, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, bassist Geoff Sprung and drummer Whit Sellers.
Be sure and catch them when they come to your area. You will be glad you did.
