July 23 - July 25, 2026 (Cardwell, Montana near Three Forks) Dates for 2027 TBD Headwaters Country Jam was created to bring live country music in a festival atmosphere to Montana and the northwest. The festival was conceived in late 2007, and the first Jam was held in June 2008. The festival is held at the venue known as The Bridge, near Three Forks. The Bridge is comprised of 159 acres and is the final resting ground for the historic Sappington Bridge that once spanned the Jefferson River. Sixty acres are used for the state-certified campground. Within the venue is a 12-acre arena where all the magic happens. Live music from national and local acts plays all day and into the night.

July 23 – August 1, 2027 (Cheyenne, Wyoming) Since 1897, Cheyenne has celebrated its Old West roots with this eye-popping festival. The center piece of this Western celebration is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo, which draws top professionals who compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. Complementing the daily rodeo action are behind-the-chutes tours, trick riding and a wild-horse race. A Native American Village, Old Frontier Town, a saloon, dancing, a chuck wagon cook-off, pancake breakfast and an art show carry through the frontier theme. Rounding out the program are a carnival midway, an air show, top-name entertainment, professional bull riding shows and several parades that include antique carriages and automobiles.

Dates for 2027 TBD This summer, Wildlands will host the sixth annual conservation event supporting wild and scenic places in Southwest Montana and beyond. Wildlands, in conjunction with PERC, The Property and Environment Research Center, will celebrate the importance of these wild and scenic places that the organization directly supports. Wildlands beneficiaries benefit from 6+ different fundraising activities and awareness of their important mission for conservation through ticket and sponsor sales, volunteer donations, merchandise sales, silent auction items, and the Wildlands Music charity dinner.
